service providers) and also includes information referred to as “personally identifiable information” or

(“Data Protection Legislation”).

Privacy of Minors
We do not knowingly collect, use, disclose, sell or share Personal Data of minors under 14 years of age. Please

Disclosures of Personal Data
We do not disclose Personal Data to a third party, except as described below or as otherwise required or authorized

anonymous or aggregated data - which does not identify individuals, either directly or indirectly - with third
parties such as service providers or in order to facilitate our business operations.

Royal Gold has operations, interests, and service providers around the world. We may store and transfer Personal Data
to any of these jurisdictions, including in Canada, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States, where
privacy laws may not be the same as those in your jurisdiction.

We and other authorized third parties may collect information about your use of our website over time through the use

Securing Personal Data
We maintain appropriate organizational, operational, and technical safeguards designed to protect Personal Data from

providing ongoing security, integrity, and confidentiality of personal data; however, transmission of information
over the internet is not completely secure. You should consider this risk before transmitting any information to us
over the web. Once we have received your data, we have implemented appropriate legal and organizational measures to
seek to prevent unauthorized access.
Retention of Personal Data
We will retain your Personal Data as long as reasonably necessary for purposes for which the Personal Data was
collected and is used by us, as stated in this Privacy Notice, and for an additional period of time as necessary to
comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain appropriate business records, and enforce our
agreements. To determine the appropriate retention period for Personal Data, we consider: (i) the length of time we
have an ongoing relationship with you or the company you represent; (ii) whether there is a legal obligation to
which we are subject (for example, certain laws require us to keep records of transactions for a certain period of
time before we can delete them); and (iii) whether retention is advisable considering our legal position (such as,

In general, in relation to website users, this will be for 7 years from the time you accessed our website, and in
relation to B2B contacts, this will be for the duration of 7 years from the date the relationship with the B2B
contact ended.

Your Privacy Rights

to certain exceptions and limitations:
- Know or Access. The right to know and access the Personal Data we have collected about you, including the
categories of Personal Data collected, the categories of sources from which the Personal Data is collected, the
business or commercial purpose for collecting, the categories of third parties to whom we disclose Personal
Data, and the specific pieces of Personal Data we have collected about you.
- Correction. The right to request that we correct inaccurate Personal Data that we maintain about you.
- Deletion. The right to request that we delete or remove Personal Data.

Changes to the Notice
This Notice is current as of the effective date set forth above. Royal Gold may change this Notice from time to time
to reflect changes in our data processing and as consistent with Data Protection Legislation. When any changes are
material, we will endeavor to bring this to your attention in advance of the change.
Annex 1 – California Privacy Notice
This Annex 1 supplements the Notice set forth above with respect to specific rights granted under the California
Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended (the “CCPA”), to natural person California residents and
provides information regarding how such California residents can exercise their rights under the CCPA. This Annex 1
is only relevant to you if you are a resident of California.

that you provide that authorized agent written and signed permission to submit such request or demonstrate power of
attorney.
